1. What is Antzill all about?

Antzill is a platform wherein gamers get together. Here you don’t just plays games, but compete with friends, gain points, redeem them for simple gifts, start building a community of gamers with similar interests and just have fun. Antzill delivers content that appeals to a wide range of users ranging from those who have never played computer games before, to those who just play for fun and those who are looking for some serious action.

2. What do I need to play on Antzill?

To get started in Antzill, you will need an Antzill account. Since the games we offer are online games, you will need a computer with an internet connection and a browser (For example : Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) which supports Flash and Shockwave.

The Hardcore Games have their own requirements to run which can be viewed in the respective game pages.

3. What is the difference between Casual Games and Hardcore Games ?

Casual games are basically web based games, where in you just click and play on Antzill as these games are hosted on Anztill Servers. But for Hardcore games, you need to download the client from respective website, create an account for that game and then play those games.

4. If Hardcore games are not to be played on Antzill, why is it part of Antzill?

Anztill is not just a game portal for playing games but it is platform for all type of gamers to get together, interact and earn points. If you are playing any of our hardcore games, you can link your game account with antzill account and based on your game play you will accumulate points on Antzill. Points accumulation criteria varies from game to game.

5. Why do I need to create an account?

Playing games on Antzill lets you earn Cookie Points. Creating an account will help us keep track of your Cookie Points. You can play our Casual games without logging in, but you will miss out on the redemption (WIN) and community (BELONG) features.

6. I have a Sify account, do I still have to register for Antzill?

No, if you have a Sify account there is no need to register again. Just login with your Sify user name and password, we will ask for some more details and you are done with the Antzill registration.

7. How do I create a new Antzill account?

Click on the REGISTER button that you see in the home page. A popup registration form appears on the screen. Fill in the required details to register.

8. How do I login to my Antzill account?

Enter your username and password in the Login box and click on the login button.

9. I forgot my password.

Click on the Forgot Password link in the Login box. You will be taken to the Sify Forgot Password page where you can create a new password after verifying yourself as the account holder.

10. How do I fill in my profile information?

After logging in to your account, go to ‘My Page’ and then click on the ‘Edit My Profile’ link.

11. How do create my Avatar?

You can choose an avatar using the Edit my Avatar option in ‘My Page’. There is an option of choosing an avatar from our gallery or you could upload your own avatar.

12. I dont want all users to view my profile?

Go to Edit profile and choose your profile settings.

13. How do I start a game?

The games on Antzill have been grouped into different categories or genres.

The Casual/Flash Games can be launched from your browser. Click on the name of the game to launch the game page and play.

To play the hardcore games, you will have to download the game client to the hard disk of your computer. You can download the game client and view the game requirements in the respective websites of the games.

14. What is the difference between Scoring and Non Scoring Game?

As the name suggests, by playing scoring games you can accumulate Cookie Points on Antzill. These games are customized for Antzill. By playing Non Scoring games, you will not gain points but just purely enjoy the gameplay. These are some interesting games we found on other sites, which we felt you would enjoy.

15. What are CPs? What can I do with them?

CP is the acronym of Cookie Points, which is the currency of Antzill. Comparable to a Rupee or Dollar, the CP is a virtual currency that can be earned by playing games in Antzill.

You can use your CPs for varied purposes like redeeming it for prizes.

16. What are redeemable Cookie Points?

As you play games, you earn Cookies Points. These points are saved in your account. However, for the purposes of redemption, the Cookie Points have a validity period. When the validity period of the particular amount of Cookies Points is over, they become non-redeemable Cookie Points and cannot be used in exchange for prizes.

Click on Scoreboard Details in the top menu. You will see your points information which will display your redeemable Cookie Points and your total Cookie Points.

The expiry of Cookie Points will not affect your scores in the Scoreboard. It is calculated from your total Cookie Points.

17. What is Game Meter?

The Game Meter tracks your play time in Antzill. The more you play, the higher your Level Meter gets.

18. What is Antzill News & Events?

The Antzill News & Events contains information about all the latest happenings in Antzill. It is updated on a regular basis with news about the latest events, prizes and offers.

19. What is a Leader Board?

The Leader Board is a list, which displays the highest ranked players. The Top Rankings table shows the players who have the All-Time highest scores in Antzill as ‘Overall Antzill’ and among your friends as ‘Your Friends’.

Each game has its own Leader board, which displays the Antzill Leaders for that game.

20. I want to get my friend over to Antzill. What do I do?

If you want to invite a friend to join Antzill, go to the My Page and click on the My Friends tab. Select the Invite a Friend option. Enter your friend's Email Address (you can enter multiple addresses or even import contacts) and click on Invite. An invite will be sent out by email to your friend to join Antzill.

21. How do I challenge?

After you have played a casual game and scored some points, you are ready to challenge.
i. Challenge a Anztill Member but not my friend : On the game page you will find “ Players trying to Beat you Score”. Just select the Player and Challenge
ii. Challenge my Friend on Anztill : On the game page, you will find “ Friend’s Score for this Game”. Just select your friend from the list and challenge. You can only challenge your friend whose score is lesser than yours
iii. Challenge my Friend who is not Antzill Member : Just Click the link “Challenge a Non Antzill Friend” on the game page, type your friends email id and challenge

The challenge is open and valid for limited days. If the person accepts your challenge, then he/she has got 24 hours to beat your score, failing to which you win. If the Challenge is not accepted within the validity period, it expires.

22. I have been challenged. What do I do?

If you have been challenged, then you should receive an alert on your profile box in the top bar. It would display how many challenges received. You click on that link, it will take you to your challenge page on your “My Page”. You can accept or reject the challenge from here.

The challenge is open and valid for limited days. If you decide to accept the challenge, you have upto 24 hours time to play the game and defeat your friend's score. If you fail to submit your high score within 24 hours of accepting the challenge, then you lose.

23. Where can I check the status of my Challenges?

To check the status of your Challenges, go to the My Page and click on My Challenges.

24. How do I make more friends on Anztill?

Go to My Page, click on My Friends and Find my kind, give your search parameters and Anztill will provide details of all the members as per your set parameters, click on the profile of any member, learn more about that person and if you feel you can hang out with that person, just invite.

25. Where can I see the prizes?

Go to the Win Goodies page, which shows a list of the available prizes.

26. Where can I check the status of my Redemptions?

To check the status of your Redemptions, check the Most Recent Goodies History and use the Check Status option for that item.

27. What is the difference between Permanent Address and Delivery Address?

In the Edit Profile option of ‘My Page’, you have the option to enter Address. The address which you enter here is your Permanent Address.
For the purposes of redemption, if you wish to receive your prize to an address, which is different from your Permanent Address, then you can specify a different address as a Delivery Address. The prizes will only be sent out to the Delivery Address and not the Permanent Address (in case both are different).
You will be asked to enter your Delivery address at the time of redemption.

28. I've lost my digital item. What do I do?

When you purchase a digital item like a Game Card, you get a digital Pin. In case of the loss of this Pin, you can request for the pin to be resent to you. Go to Win Goodies page and click on Detailed Goodies History. Find your digital item in the list and click on the Resend option.

29. What are Scraps?

Scraps are short messages, which you or your friends post on your profile. These messages can be deleted if don’t want them to be permanent on your profile.

30. What are game reviews?

Game reviews are the opinion of antzill members on a particular game. You could also leave your opinion. In case if you find some member’s opinion on the game not relevant, you could report abuse. Please go through report abuse policy before you report.

31. I have some problem with Antzill, what do I do?

A. TECHNICAL FAQs :

1. I cannot access www.antzill.com.

Try to open a popular website like www.google.com or www.yahoo.com. If you cannot connect to these websites, it is probably a problem with your internet connection.

2. I can connect to www.antzill.com, but the site does not load properly in my browser.

We recommend that you use the latest version of Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. Older versions of these browsers might not be able to display the Antzill website properly.

3. I can connect to www.antzill.com, but I can see only a blank page.

Antzill.com uses a scripting language called Javascript. Most browsers have Javascript support built-in, but may have been disabled for some reason. To enable Javascript:

For Firefox Users:

* From the menu bar within Firefox go to the "Tools" menu and select "Options"
* Select the "Content" tab
* Click on the option labeled "Enable JavaScript"

For Internet Explorer Users:

* Click Tools menu and select "Internet Options".
* Select the Security tab.
* Click the "Custom Level" button at bottom.
* Under Scripting category (scrolling nearly to the bottom of that window), make sure the following options are selected:
o Active Scripting
o Allow paste options via script
o Scripting of Java applets.

* Click OK twice to close out. You may need to refresh or restart your browser if changes were made.

4. I can't play the Casual/Flash Games.

a. The suggested minimum requirements to play the Casual games on Antzill are :
Windows 98/Me/2000/XP
400 MHz
64 MB RAM
Flash Player 8 required (Flash Player 9 recommended)

b. All the games in the Casual games section need Adobe Flash and Shockwave to run.

c. Ensure that your internet browser does not have the popup blocker enabled. You might have to set the popup blocker to allow popups from Antzill.com.

d. Check if you are still connected to the internet. The Casual games require a working internet connection to function properly.

e. It is advisable to clear your browser cache which can fix many common issues such as loading or crashing during the game.

For Internet Explorer users :

1. Launch your Internet Explorer browser.
2. Click on the Tools menu at the top of the browser.
3. Click on Internet Options from the drop-down menu.
4. Click on the Delete Cookies button.
5. Click on the Delete Files button.
6. Click OK.
7. Close your browser and restart Internet Explorer.

For Firefox users :

1. Choose Tools from the main menu (at the top of the Firefox window).
2. Click on Options, and the Options window will appear.
3. Click on the Advanced tab.
4. In the Advanced page, click on the Network tab.
5. Click on the "Clear Now" button for the Cache option.
5. Your computer may take a minute or two to delete everything.
6. Once your cursor reverts from the hourglass to the normal cursor, click the OK button at the bottom.
7. Now, close all Firefox windows and re-open Firefox again.

You can also clear the temporary internet files in your computer.

Troubleshooting Adobe Flash and Shockwave problems :

An earlier version of Shockwave Player is pre-installed with most popular Internet browsers. Sometimes, damage to the Shockwave Player that's already installed can prevent your upgrading to the latest Shockwave Player. You can resolve almost all difficulties encountered with the Adobe Shockwave and Flash Players by taking the following steps:

1. Uninstall Shockwave Player: You can download a Shockwave Player uninstaller for Windows and Mac OS:
* Shockwave Player uninstaller (Windows) : http://download.shockwave.com/pub/shockwave/uninstaller/swuninstaller.exe
* Shockwave Player uninstaller (Mac OS) : http://download.shockwave.com/pub/shockwave/uninstaller/swuninstaller.hqx

2. Save the uninstaller to your desktop, then quit/exit any applications you have open.

3. Launch the uninstaller from your desktop and follow the instructions in the dialog boxes which appear.

4. Uninstall Flash Player. To uninstall Flash Player, you must delete the Flash Player plug-in or ActiveX control. The path to the Flash Player depends on the operating system your computer uses:
* Windows 95/98: Delete the swflash.ocx file in the Macromed directory: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\Macromed\flash\
* Windows NT: Delete the swflash.ocx file in the Macromed directory: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\
* Netscape for Windows: Delete the NPSWF32.dll file in the Netscape plugins directory: C:\Program Files\Netscape\Communicator\Program\Plugins
* Mac OS: Delete the Shockwave Flash NP-PPC file in the plug-ins folder of your Internet browser.

5. Restart your computer.

6. If you downloaded the installer for a more recent version of your Internet browser, launch that installer now. Follow the instructions the installer gives.

7. Finally, reinstall the Shockwave and Flash Players here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/

Successful Installation Test :

The two movies will show if you have any versions of these two Web Players installed. You can also get information about the latest version of the Players and download the most current version if you have an outdated Player(s).

5. Problems with a Firewall.

Using a Firewall Program might cause problems while playing games on Antzill. Please ensure that your Firewall program is configured to allow incoming and outgoing connections from the Antzill games.
